Web Applications
Build with web-standard technology mostly by using the web-standard components such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, most optimized for smaller devices. Their look and feel can be identical to native applications plus they can be built to fit almost all mobile devices. They are fast and inexpensive to build plus now that HTML5 has changed the scenery, Web Applications it is difficult to even distinguish a native from a web application!


2 Web Application Types:

Normal web applications
They can be accessed through a web browser on a mobile device and build using mainly HTML5, CSS and Javascript. Normal Web Applications can provide full capabilities of customization, navigation and interaction.


Hybrid web applications
Build using HTML5, CSS, Javascript that possess a cross-platform compatibility because they are converted to native applications in hopes to be distributed in certain app stores such as the App Store.
